I provide care and support to women and their families during pregnancy, labour and the period after the baby’s birth. It’s my job to understand and empathise with the emotional, physical and psychological effects of pregnancy and birth.

What training do I need to become a midwife?
A degree in midwifery and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
