I use x-rays and other ionising radiation to treat cancer and tumours. I need to be incredibly accurate to ensure my patient’s tumour or cancer receives the right dose of radiation, while their surrounding normal tissues receive the lowest possible dose.

What training do I need to become a therapeutic radiographer?
A degree (BSc) or (MSc) in therapeutic radiography, then you must register with the Health and Care Professions Council.
